One of Casas del Bosque most emblematic places, a Terroir where our organic vineyards are cultivated. There it grows together native plants and autochthonous animal life along with Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir wine plantations.
The area has a natural water reservoir, filled by two streams running down from the mountains. In summer these waters, along with well waters, irrigate the lands. In winter, they are irrigated by the rain waters.
Animal life is wild, natural and autochthonous. We can observe ducks, coypus (a kind of beaver) and herons. Flora is also diverse. At the reservoir bank grows a Maitén, a native tree which has been there for more than 30 years.
The reservoir has 15,000 m3 capacity.
