Restaurant Tanino’s menu is prepared by our Chef, Álvaro Larraguibel together with Grant Phelps, our Winemaker Chief , who seek the perfect balance between our gastronomy and our excellent Casas del Bosque wines, using only fresh ingredients coming from local farmers to achieve preparations plenty of flavors, textures, and at the same time in harmony with our wine.

Chef´s Recommendations:

  • WAGYU BEEF EMPANADAS:
    Oven-baked empanadas filled with tender, slow-cooked Wagyu beef, smoked cheese and coriander served with pebre: a tomato, merkén and spring onion salsa.
    Suggested pairing: Cabernet Sauvignon Gran Reserva.
  • OSTRICH TARTAR:
    Seared ostrich tartar served with a soy and honey reduction, potato crisps, capers and a mustard salsa accompanied by crostini.
    Suggested pairing: Syrah Gran Reserva.
  • WINTER SQUASH SOUP:
    Creamy squash soup, served with a tomato comfit, sautéed asparagus and crispy olives.
    Suggested wine pairing: Sauvignon Blanc Gran Reserva.
  • OUR ARTESANAL PASTA:
    Homemade pasta served with pesto, sundried tomatoes, sautéed prawnsand a Chardonnay reduction.
    Suggested pairing: Chardonnay Gran Reserva.
  • HONEY CHEESECAKE:
    A classic recipe made with honey from the vineyard, served with red fruits.
    Suggested pairing: Late Harvest Riesling.

Dress Code : Casual. We advice you to bring warm clothing to protect yourself from the cold, since climate varies frequently in the valley.

Tuesday to Sunday from 12:00 to 16.30 hrs.
During the Summer Season open Mondays

Closed :
January 1, Good Friday, May 1, December 7, 8 and 25.

Tanino Restaurant will be closed all Mondays from May 4th / 2015 till September 27th / 2015.
