Casas del Bosque has 19.54 ha of its vineyard treated with an organic management of the production. This organic management consists in obtaining high quality wine grapes in a sustainable manner that is friendly with the environment. Therefore, besides looking for the quality of its wines, the vineyard is concerned about the environment.
CDB is completely and absolutely convinced that they may continue with their excellent wine grape growing, not interfering the natural life cycles and giving sustainability to the system. This sustainability is mainly based on the use of natural products for plague and disease control, the use of natural fertilizers (like manure derived from animal excrements) as earth enrichment and avoiding the use of herbicides to control undergrowth.
Casas del Bosque has 4.4ha of Sauvignon Blanc and 15.64ha of Pinot Noir in an area that limits with the Los Olivos water reservoir which has very good soils of Casablanca Valley
